Wang Shenchao, born on April 21, 1945, is widely regarded as one of the greatest sportsmen in China. He was born in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province and began his career playing basketball for the Zhejiang University team.

In 1967, Wang Shenchao joined the Chinese national basketball team and quickly became one of its top players. He was known for his exceptional speed, agility,Football Special News Network and scoring ability, which helped him lead the Chinese team to victory at the Asian Games in 1978.
